Who companions to farewell Tennant

Minor spoilers: Billie Piper, Freema Agyeman and Catherine Tate will all return to Doctor Who to farewell actor David Tennant.

doctor-whobpMinor spoilers: Three of Doctor’s Who‘s most recent companions will return for the final episode by David Tennant.

Billie Piper, Freema Agyeman and Catherine Tate will all help to send off Tennant in his final appearance as the Time Lord.

The three will join forces to take on the Doctor’s revived arch-enemy The Master, played again by John Simm (Life on Mars).

An insider said: “This will be the most exciting episode Doctor Who have ever done. We really wanted to get all the companions back on board as a fitting send-off to David.

“And of all the enemies for him to face in his final episode it makes sense for The Master to be the main one. Getting Billie to agree is a real coup, but she loved working on the show so much it didn’t take much convincing.”

  1. This is all just speculation at the moment put out by The Sun Newspaper. It may happen or it may not- The Sun aren’t always the most reliable with news on Doctor Who. On the other hand sometimes they get it spot on!

All I’m saying is that is has not been officially announced yet- and with filming on these episodes yet to even commence, there’s not been any on-set sighting to go by yet either.

If it does happen, there had better be a good storyline to bring back Rose & Donna, who both have had quite final exits from the show. (Twice in Roses case)

  2. Wow that sounds very interesting. Looking forward to see how this pans out.

Also I saw knew that John Simm was going to be back as the Master.
