  1. I would like to know why the QLD be it Broncos or SOO trainer is on the field during play. I am aware players at times need trainers on field but the QLD SOO / Broncos trainer is on the field for most of the 80 min of playing time, I am surprised he has not been tackled or passed the ball on occasions why is this allowed, the Ref may not see it but the linemen should and surely the commentators do, As a viewer and supporter of NRL every game I have seen this trainer does it. It is a sad thing when Professional players have to have a 14 man team on field – it is an advantage for team as he is relaying messages from Coach and sees the state of play while not actually being in a Position

    Please explain

    What qualifications does he have as a trainer and why dies the NRL allow this

  2. I live in Perth – Channel 9 are replaying Gold Coast v broncos s at 12:15 am – not bothering with Dogs v Knights at all. Channel 9 this afternoon are showing I dream of Jeannie (the millionth repeat) and ra repeat of Farmer Wants A Wife!
    Fox are replaying GC v Broncos at 3am and Dogs v Knights at 5am.
    Pretty pathetic if you are an NRL supporter and live in Perth

  3. Just saw that 7 and 10 are showing the AFL games either live or within an hr of the kick-off in Brisbane and Sydney. Just shows how pathetic Ch9 are – especially for not showing the storm game in melbourne live or on a short delay.

    Next TV deal – the NRL should ensure this does not happen again – how are they supposed to build a following in non-NRL states when Ch9 shows the finals at midnight – and poor perth – the fri night game is almost 7 hours behind!!

  4. I think in the next round of tv deals the NRL should demand that all games are shown “live” across the country by whoever wins the contract.Would be interesting if Ten won.
    Interested to see if they isolate State of Origin as well.
    The other current demand should be for all games in QLD / NSW to be shown in HD,Nine/Foxtel do it but WIN/Austar don’t.

  5. i live in Melbourne and have been an NRL fan all my life. Channel 9 and the NRL for that matter are a disgrace for not showing any finals live this weekend Fine you do not want to show it on your main channel? Show it on GO! or let Fox sports or main event show it live,

    It is 2009 and i cannot see the game LIVE down here. What a disgrace,

  6. Wake up Ch9, it’s a Melbourne home game.. Play it Live in melbourne!.
    They are doing to Melbourne what they did to the Warriors last year. They plugged that they will play every Finals Game live and Renegged here we go again!
