Tim Roth will be back as psychlogist Dr. Cal Lightman early next month in the second season of the procedural drama, Lie to Me.
The show is back on TEN oat 9:30pm Tuesday October 6th, eight days after it resumes in the US.
Based on the real-life scientific discoveries of Paul Ekman, the series follows Lightman and his team of deception experts as they assist law enforcement and government agencies via microsexpressions and body language.
This season Shawn Ryan, the producer-writer behind The Shield and The Unit, will be the showrunner for its 13 episode order.

Must admit, did not think i would like this but have warned to it.
well worth watching if nothing else great is on.
Looking forward to watching this less than a day after it airs in the US, in HD. No option but to view elsewhere, just like anything else on Ten.
It’ll be interesting to see if Shawn Ryan grits the show up a bit. Expect more handheld camera 😉
Hmm, no, it’s on Fox. Maybe they’re holding off to see the ratings until they do a backend order?
Awesome. Love this show. Why only 13 episodes though? That’s the usual number for cable shows, this isn’t on cable in the US is it??
