GO! to the Inbetweeners
A little more British flavour will be coming to GO!, having picked up the rights to The Inbetweeners, a comedy about a group of teenage friends struggling through sixth form at school from E4 -the same channel as Skins.
Will (Simon Bird) attended a private school but has been relocated to a state school. On his first day he is bullied by fellow students and insults his teacher. But he meets new friends Simon, Jay and Neil and tries to impress them by illegally purchasing alcohol.
The series, which began in May 2008, has had two series produced and was named Best New TV Comedy at the British Comedy Awards 2008.
A third series has been announced for 2010.
GO! will air the first series early in the new year.

When is the inbetweeners actually coming to GO!????? I thought it was ment to air in January, but it still hasn’t .. WTF!?
Possibly the funniest show I’ve seen!!!
Every guy(& some girls) will have gone to school with one if not all of these characters-pure gold!!!
Love the Inbetweeners. Brilliant.
It is very low brow but very, very funny. Excellent cast and great writing.
This is a great show caught it in the UK when I was travelling there. Big get for GO!.
I will check it out.
This is a great show…so many hilarious moments. Very sharp writing too. Nine would only show this on GO! and would have to air after 9pm to make a safe MA rating. Well worth a look if you haven’t seen it.
Unfamiliar with this show, but it’s good they’re starting to show more british tv.
There is so much excellent british tv in all genre’s that never reaches our screens here on FTA or PAYTV.
I’m surprised foxtel hasn’t picked up on this fact, something like UKTV tends to show a lot of stuff we’re familiar with, they could easily do another channel of quality British shows never shown in Australia before.
Sounds good! Keep it in the schedule from first to last episode, GO.
I thought that had been announced earlier and you had an airdate for us
Can’t wait to watch it!
I thought this show was hilarious, but the language and situations are beyond risque, and I can’t imagine Nine showing it without heavy cuts.
