A little more British flavour will be coming to GO!, having picked up the rights to The Inbetweeners, a comedy about a group of teenage friends struggling through sixth form at school from E4 -the same channel as Skins.
Will (Simon Bird) attended a private school but has been relocated to a state school. On his first day he is bullied by fellow students and insults his teacher. But he meets new friends Simon, Jay and Neil and tries to impress them by illegally purchasing alcohol.
The series, which began in May 2008, has had two series produced and was named Best New TV Comedy at the British Comedy Awards 2008.
A third series has been announced for 2010.
GO! will air the first series early in the new year.

what channel is this program on?
Fun show but they are just replays.
The Inbetweeners is the funniest show ever, I love it!!!!
But is it only on Monday nights at 9:00????
Seen all seasons while working in UK. Funny as. Another popular one there is Peep Show. I think Season 6 is last season. Not sure if its has screened here but it was highly praised too. Inbetweeners is a great show to have on GO, a digital channel which I love the content of. Ive just taken to digital tv.
whare can i buy it???
wat is the song of the advitisement of go/!! of inbetweeners??? i like the song!!
Yea ive been looking for that song everywhere, ive checked YouTube, Google. I’ve even been on forums and yahoo and can’t find it. Lot’s of people wnat to know the song but no one knows
What is the name of the song in the advert on channel GO! ? The only lyrics are ‘get dirty’.
Where the hell is tonight’s episode , I only watch Shameless and Top Gear and the footy on our yank dominated TV
Come on Go, ” the inbetweeners ” are the funniest ever and into the third season in the UK, Why can’t you show more than the first episode
We want more of the inbetweeners and we want it now!
You cant buy the dvd in australia because they dont sell it here i had to order mine over ebay.
Just ordered series 1-2 from amazon uk for $22aus delivered, seen a couple of episodes and loved it.
I think several others have this problem. I need to know the song on the GO! advertisement for Inbetweeners. I’m going crazy… I hear this song everywhere I must know the name D:
awesome show! anyone know when it will be released on dvd in australia?
Hey, I think I just found that song. It’s Calvin Harris – Acceptable in the Eighties. Enjoy!
funniest show ever. but i was wondering, if anybody knows the song name that plays in the channel GO! ad. its a techno/house song
Does anyone know when/if season 1 is getting an Australian or R4 DVD release?
Looks funny but there is one thing bugging me – The song on the Go! Advert for it. Right at the end of the ad, the last few seconds, there is a song, and i just cannot find out what it is!
I wish they showed more British TV on free to air- they seem to show a heck of a lot of programmes that rarely make mainstream TV in England but none of the primetime shows!!
The Inbetweeners is up there with Gavin & Stacey!! Love it…good work Go…
ok. so, the inbetweeners is officially on this Tuesday 9:30pm on go!! lol finally

When is the inbetweeners actually coming to GO!????? I thought it was ment to air in January, but it still hasn’t .. WTF!?
Possibly the funniest show I’ve seen!!!
Every guy(& some girls) will have gone to school with one if not all of these characters-pure gold!!!
Love the Inbetweeners. Brilliant.
It is very low brow but very, very funny. Excellent cast and great writing.
This is a great show caught it in the UK when I was travelling there. Big get for GO!.
I will check it out.
This is a great show…so many hilarious moments. Very sharp writing too. Nine would only show this on GO! and would have to air after 9pm to make a safe MA rating. Well worth a look if you haven’t seen it.
Unfamiliar with this show, but it’s good they’re starting to show more british tv.
There is so much excellent british tv in all genre’s that never reaches our screens here on FTA or PAYTV.
I’m surprised foxtel hasn’t picked up on this fact, something like UKTV tends to show a lot of stuff we’re familiar with, they could easily do another channel of quality British shows never shown in Australia before.
Sounds good! Keep it in the schedule from first to last episode, GO.
I thought that had been announced earlier and you had an airdate for us
Can’t wait to watch it!
I thought this show was hilarious, but the language and situations are beyond risque, and I can’t imagine Nine showing it without heavy cuts.
