How did that loser Matthew Newton get a berth? No doubt dear old dad got it for him!!! Pathetic. There is very little talent on tonight, so therefore the television will be off in our home.
Is it just be or is Carols By Candlelight where washed up Idol contestants go to die?
i put my money on Shrek the Halls 7:30
Love Carols By Candlelight!
I see from the VisIon Australia site that the offical launch will be broadcast on the Today Show on Tuesday, with Ricki-Lee, John Foreman and Carols Ambassador Anthony Callea making an appearance.
Lisa & Karl
John Foreman
Doug Heywood and CBC choir
Hi-5
Humphrey B & Santa
National Boys Choir of Australia
Australian Girls Choir
Lorin Nicholson
Silvie Paladino
Marina Prior
On Nov 25, on the Vison Australia site all the above were as performers for the 2009 Carols and the day before Anthony Callea was named as Carols Ambassador, so Guy wasn’t exactly the first name on the list. 😉
Karl and Lisa? groan. Although I guess it could be worse (Eddie, Jules, Catriona, etc…)
Rikki Lee, Young Divas, Jessica Mauboy, Damien Leith
Just a guess for other token performers who appear on TV specials/sporting events. Tokenistic much?
“It kicks off at 8pm”. Good. Always thought it was a bit ridiculous starting it at 9pm for all of those years.
Oh great, Lisa and Karl again.
We recorded them last year, find it so annoying that they’re starting an hour earlier. But at least we could fastforward through all their stupid patter.
Funny how much more willing artists are to participate in goodwill events when they have an album to flog just before christmas…
Anthony Callea is also performing again this year!
