As noted earlier, Seven is indeed returning Australia’s Got Talent for a fourth season, despite leaving the show off a list of 2010 highlights. Must have been more contracts to lock in (like Red Symons or Dannii Minogue? Who knows….).
It will be interesting to hear if the judges have changed, especially with Hey Hey it’s Saturday wanting its man for Red Faces (could Dicko take a seat?). The show is also likely to surface much later this year, given auditions for 09 took place in October 08. But Dannii will be doing X Factor UK from August to December.
On the weekend Dannii’s management denied rumours she was pregnant. Manager Melissa Le Gear told the Sydney Morning Herald: ”Reports that said she was seen in hospital having a particular type of test are absolutely untrue.”
Updated 14/1/09: And today Dannii confirmed she is pregnant.
The show, last won by young opera singer Mark Vincent, is once again looking for “individuals and groups, circus acts, animal acts, ventriloquists, magicians, comedians, all kinds of dancers – from ballet to belly, all styles of singers from yodelers to opera … all ages .. Weird, wacky and wonderful!”
As the official website declares: “If you’re the best, the worst, the youngest, the oldest, the funniest or the only person who does what you do, then we want to hear from you!”
National auditions are yet to be announced but you can also send a DVD, tape or CD of your act to Po Box 901 Crows Nest NSW 1585.
More info, including an audition form, is at the show’s website.
