Trailer: Nurse Jackie

By David Knox on January 29, 2010 / Filed Under News 15

Showtime has released the trailer for Season Two of Nurse Jackie, describing her simply as “Somewhere between Florence Nightingale and Nurse Ratched.”

No word on when TEN will screen this series.

But can we please have a decent bloody timeslot?

Thankyou.

Shouldnt have been airing on TEN. It should have gone straight to PayTV.

Looking foward to the new series, however I wont be watching it on TEN, they have proven they cant be trusted. The sooner they lauch the new channel the better, they are losing viewers for every new show they launch at the moment. Have to say, I prefer Jackie with the longer hair shown in the pic above. At least she only had the wet look for the first few eps of season one before the colour change and better drier look.

There ought to be a clause by the seller stating that the show must be programmed in primetime, in order, without major (2-4) week gaps, otherwise another channel can bid for it…

It’ll never happen, but if it were my product, I’d be well-pi**ed at the network for shafting it so badly, and yet selfishly keeping it to itself…

There should be a 6th FTA channel (7th if I kindly include C31) which is basically a secluded island for all the great shows which FTA channels reject and treat like crap… Man oh man, what a great lineup it would have!

i personally just think it was a stupid acquisition by TEN. Maybe they thought that they had the next “house md” on their hands or something.. but i think that the shows produced by the cable networks in the US never seem to do well here on commercial tv. Would’ve been nice to see the abc get it.

sometimes i feel like there’s a secret camera monitoring my tv viewing habits. When the stations notice i like a show, they dump it, or bump it into the wee hours of the morning. I dont think I’d watch jackie on ten – if she ever comes back….

Don’t hold your breath… this Is channel ten… wish Showcase had gotten it first…

Not likely. Do yourself a favour, don’t touch it until you own the series so you can watch it uninterrupted. Shame these shows don’t rate very well…a waste of brilliance.

When it finally ended up at 12.30am, not much chance of that I am afraid. Makes you wonder why they bloody even bother. They flock off with an open cheque book, sign up everything they can just to spoil the other networks and then decide they dont want to show it.
Look at what Nein did to The Wire – had more moves in the schedule than flies on a dog log, same with The Sopranos. Thankfully 7(2) have taken over that one and ABC has done a good job with the first 2 Wire seasons (just a pity they wont have any more)

Channel 10 will screen 3 episodes and then withdraw it. Just don’t waste your time, there are alternatives.

Loved this show. It was such a shame it was treated how it was. But I am now sought of expecting that from this Channel! Can’t wait for the second series

And United States of Tara returns March 22 as well. Nurse jackie at 10pm, Tara at 10.30pm. They’d make a great double here as well, if Ten let Nurse Jackie go to the ABC, we could see them together at 9.30 and 10.00 Wednesday nights on ABC1.

Given that it starts in the US on March 22, and we have Easter a week later, if Ten do show it, we won’t see it until mid April.

    I’ll be watching – not on TEN – but I’ll be watching…

Personally I don’t care what timeslot this airs as long as it airs however when it comes to channel 10 I know not to hold my breath.
