Tangle begins shooting its second season today and announces new cast members in Kick Gurry (Speed Racer, Looking for Alibrandi), Tim Draxl (Red Canyon, Swimming Upstream), Adam Zwar (Wilfred, Underbelly, Rush), Leah Vandenberg (East of Everything, Stupid Stupid Man) and previously announced Don Hany (East West 101, Underbelly).
Justine Clarke, Catherine McClements, Joel Tobeck, Matt Day and Kat Stewart have all been confirmed to return. Due to the plotline nature of the season cliffhanger, so far there is no confirmation on a return by actor Ben Mendelsohn.
Produced by John Edwards and Imogen Banks, the second season has been written by original writers Fiona Seres (Love My Way, Dangerous, The Surgeon), Tony McNamara (Love My Way, Secret Life of Us) joined by Judi McCrossin (Secret Life of Us, The Surgeon).
Stuart McDonald (Tangle Season One, Secret Life of Us, Summer Heights High) and Emma Freeman (Hawke, Love My Way) are directing.
The drama will return to Showcase.
Can anyone please please please tell me where the main locales are in tangle….as an ex kew girl, so much looks familiar but i can’t quite place them. I’ve tried all sorts of industry contacts and no-one seems to be able to help….looking forward to some helpful answers…..lyn b
The cast is getting quite large now with 5 additions. I suppose we can expect half of these actors to appear in Offspring later in the year.
DVD will be released in a few months
Does anyone know when the DVD of series 1 will be released? Don’t have pay TV and have been patiently waiting to catch this gem.
Matt, I remember Secret Life of Us S2 Started filming once and rushed it to TV after the 1st season took off…was out in less than a month I remember…maybe I am wrong…but of course this is way better.
If they have started filming it this week, I very doubt you are going to see it until at least Oct or Nov, they have all the editing and post -production stuff to do after they have finished filming it.
So a while off yet……
Probably final quarter, not sure.
So when will this possibly go to air? I hope there wont be such a huge delay this time.
