“Good chance” for more Curb Your Enthusiasm

Larry David has hinted at more Curb Your Enthusiasm at the PaleyFest 2010 in Los Angeles.

The Q & A event held by the Paley Center for Media allows audience consists of a fireside chat and audience questions.

Moderator Martin Miller of the Los Angeles Times asked Larry David about an eighth season of his wry comedy.

David paused briefly. “I think there’s a pretty good chance,” he said, as the crowd burst into applause. “We’re working on a couple of things.”

As for any more Seinfeld reunions, it’s a no go.

“We think it went very well,” David said politely. But then added. “There’ll be no more Seinfeld references on the show. That’s all over.”

And as for a big screen version?

“No plans for a movie,” he said.

You can read more about PaleyFest including the chats with cast / creatives from Dexter, NCIS, Lost, Community, Modern Family, Glee, FlashForward, Breaking Bad, Cougar Town and The Vampire Diaries here.

You have to admire larry david. Not only is he incredibly talented and funny, but he got himself in a position when he can only make more of his show when he feels like it. Both up to doing it, and when he feels he has enough ideas to make it good. No demand to have to do a season by a certain date.
If only more shows were given this flexibility and quality control!
well in the UK many do.

“I think there’s a pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good chance” :D

Fantastic news! My favourite character on TV will continue his aloofy, offensive path through hollywood!

Big screen version – why would this have even been considered by the interviewer?
And as for the “Seinfeld reunion” – it went so well, there’s no way in hell you’d ever go back and play with it any more. I do, however, hope we see more Jason Alexander/Larry confrontations!
