Doctor Who: “Flesh and Stone”

By David Knox on May 3, 2010 / Filed Under News 10

This glimpse -annoyingly with narration- is the second of a two-part story, that begins with “The Time of Angels” next Sunday night.

So if you’re determined not to be Spoiled then maybe give this clip a miss.

“Flesh and Stone” will air on ABC1 on May 16.

Time of the Angels had the creepy suspenseful mood which i loved, and i think, judging by the cracks seen at the end of each episode, i’d expect the finale to possibly have the cybermen and daleks escaping the void?

Yeah the Daleks ep last night on ABC was not liked by some fans after the first two new eps but the next 2 are much better, very scary, at least for kids. The “Time Crack” looks to be a great season theme.

I personally liked the ‘iPod’ Daleks, they are sure to return later in the season.

Do not worry…. The time of the angels is the best episode ever

Lol Marc that scene is causing a lot of controversy – continuity error or something more important to the rest of the series!!?!?!?!

Can’t be any worse than what was served up last night.

Wow. I think the new daleks last night were fantastic ! I think Matt Smith is doing a great job as the Doctor.

All I can say is, carefully watch the scene where the Doctor talks to Amy before leaving her in the forest. Blink and you’ll miss it. As River would say, “Spoilers!”.

Let me say this is 2 of the best eps so far for the new Doctor. The season is going from strength to strength!

It is being hailed by fans as “what we were all waiting for” from new showrunner Steven Moffat. And has a caused controversy in the UK with a fairly steamy encounter between “Pond” and the Doctor.

Interestingly UKTV have announced their big “Who Weekend” (in June) to fans first. The three-day event is a countdown of Aussie fans’ favourite “new Who” shows and the channel went to the fans first with the announcement going out around the fan sites first before being announced to the media today!!
