Love the group shot David. It’s great to see Nine supporting a lot of actors. We have an amazing talent in this country, I’m just glad they’re not all going to LA.
I’m a fan of local drama, and got Foxtel just so I could Love My Way, Dangerous, Satisfaction and Tangle.
John Edwards has really created a new level of what Aussie tv could be (especially with Love My Way), but unfortunatley it hasnt spread to commerical television yet.
Underbelly, City Homicide, Rush, Rescue Special Ops, Sea Patrol, Packed to the Rafters, Cops LAC…. they seem like safe bets to me and I really wish 7, 9 or 10 would actually stop underestimating the audience and produce something of quality that doesnt need to rely on genre procedures (and I’m hoping the upcoming Offspring with Asher Keddie will do that).
But then you see something like East West 101 on SBS, which I think is bloody brilliant television, especially for a “cop show”.
John Edwards produces Rush plus the upcoming Offspring. He didn’t do Satisfaction.
Coming up in COPS L.A.C.
What show was the guy in the 2nd (right) and 6th pic (left) in?
Actually Ronnie, it’s because a cast member is leaving at the end of this series. They’re keeping it close to their chest.
I don’t get why people are so negative around here. Why don’t people here write the next “best” Aussie drama? Then we can all be negative about how rubbish it is 🙂
It is just me, but does this line-up of Australian drama seem lame, tame, boring and very old-fashioned? Sea Patrol 5 has not announced any cast apart from Lisa McCune. Do you know why? Because it so doesn’t matter – Lisa McCune wearing a boiler suit floating about in a rubber dinghy will rate on Nine! Why is that so?
so… it was a home and away reunion.
good to see lincoln lewis in a job even if it’s small, i’ll be watching his episode of R:SO. even if it’s just for a laugh.
