FUEL TV will once again deliver live coverage from the world’s premier surfing tour in South Africa next month.

Surf’s up at FUEL TV, which will once again deliver live coverage from the world’s premier surfing tour in South Africa next month.

The 2010 Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay, or ‘J-Bay’ as it is better known, will be beamed into Australian living rooms  from Thursday July 15th.

The event is the fourth stop on the 2010 ASP World Tour.

One of the most popular events on the pro surfing tour, it will feature local Durban-based surfer Jordy Smith hot on the tail of 9-time World Champion Kelly Slater at the top of the 2010 ASP World Tour rankings.

Aussies Taj Burrow (3rd), Mick Fanning (4th) and Joel Parkinson (pictured, currently 8th in the ratings), will all be hoping to advance their world title hopes.

FUEL TV Channel Manager Adam Howarth said, “We’ve had a tremendous reaction to our live ASP World Tour coverage and are delighted to announce we’ll be covering the J-Bay event next month.

“Surfing fans have had a taste of live surfing and have made it clear to us that they are hungry for more.”

“We’re committed to giving those fans the most complete coverage of the events we have secured and look forward to delivering a comprehensive broadcast from Jeffreys Bay.”
