Airdate: Parenthood, Keeping Up with the Kardashians

Seven keeps its Tuesday nights domestic with Parenthood and Keeping Up with the Kardashians to follow the Rafter family.

The promos have been running, and now we have an Airdate for Parenthood.

As expected, it will follow Packed to the Rafters at 9:30pm from Tuesday August 10th on Seven.

It will be followed by the reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the 2008 reality series looking at the lives of the Kardashian/Jenner family. The series has already aired on Pay TV in Australia.

Parenthood is the second television series to be based on the feature film directed by Ron Howard and stars Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Bedelia, Peter Krause, Lauren Graham, Dax Shepard and Monica Potter and has been well received in the US.

NBC has renewed the series for a second season.

This is the story of the Bravermans – Sarah, Adam, Crosby, and Julia – four grown siblings sharing the headaches, heartaches and unexpected joys of being a parent. But when single mum Sarah Braverman moves back to the family home in Berkeley, she inadvertently stirs up the chemistry of her colourful extended family.

  1. In the US Parenthood airs following Biggest Loser, also on Tuesday nights.

Parenthood is similar to Brothers & Sisters being it’s about family, give it at least 3 or 4 eps and you’ll be hooked.

I thought they would have stuck with GW at 10:30.

  2. I love the show. There are messages for everyone no matter what their age or or profession. Anyway, I would watch Peter Krause read the phone book in swahili.

  3. Looking forward to Parenthood. Hopefully it dosn’t have the annoying factor of the show it most resembles ( brothers and sisters). I don’t think it will. and it will be good to have a us show in this half of the year that isn’t crime based.

  4. Yay – it’s a happy day!

It’s a solid show which has grown in popularity to win key demographics in the US, I just hope it works here.

    Now for a question David…
In the US the pilot was longer than usual, about 50 minutes. Will Seven do it with reduced ads as they did in the US (with Nissan being the main sponsor for the pilot ep?) All other eps have been the usual 40 minutes or so. I just hope they don’t try and edit the pilot down to fit in more ads.
