The nation remains food-mad as LifeStyle greenlights a third season of Come Dine with Me Australia and begins the hunt for new dinner party hosts.

With the nation so obsessed with food, The LifeStyle Channel today announces a third series of Come Dine with Me Australia.
The dinner-party show, based on a UK format, is about to see its second season hit TV screens next month.
Casting for the third 20-part half-hour series commences immediately, again to be produced by Granada Media Australia.
James Valentine returns to narrate the series which sees everyday Australians compete as dinner party hosts / cooks for complete strangers, with a bit of humour thrown in for good measure.
“Come Dine with Me Australia is such a winning format. The series is a fantastic reflection of Australian society, taking viewers into everyday Aussie homes,” said Nicole Sheffield, General Manager, LifeStyle Channels.
“Our viewers identify with the people in the series and love the sense of fun it brings to the channel. Fans of the show can’t get enough of this series and we’re thrilled to be commissioning a third series.”
Come Dine with Me Australia series two screens weeknights at 8.30pm from Monday August 23rd on The LifeStyle Channel.

They need to make bigger seasons!
For those that missed season one it is being repeated now. Can’t wait for season two much prefer the Australian format to the UK.
