Airdate: MAX Sessions: Slash

Slash has recorded a rare, stripped back acoustic performance for MAX, accompanied by vocalist Myles Kennedy.

On Sunday night at Sydney’s Seymour Centre, Slash put on a rare, stripped back acoustic performance for MAX, accompanied by vocalist Myles Kennedy.

Songs included Patience, Back from Cali, Starlight, plus the Velvet Revolver track Fall to Pieces. Highlights of the night were a rendition of the Sweet Child of Mine that closed the set, as well as the impromptu encore performance of Civil War.

Between sets, Slash answered questions from the audience, which included Axle Whitehead, band Juke Kartel, Gyroscope’s Rob Nassif and Zoran Trivic, Channel [V]’s Danny Clayton, Kyle Linahan, Billy Russell and Jane Gazzo, along with Gyton Grantley, Glenn A. Baker, Daimon Downey and Lee Furlong and Shane Watson. The night was hosted by Kate Ceberano.

MAX Sessions: Slash will premiere Saturday 16 October at 7.30pm on MAX.
