@paull, i believe they have been to Australia three times.. they have been to Sydney and Adelaide (coober pedy) in season 2, Brisbane and Cairns in Season 4 and Perth and Darwin in season 9.. So Australia has had its fair share of The Amazing Race.. 🙂
I certainly remember Brissy, Perth, Darwin.
how exciting!! i am defiantly australia’s biggest Amazing Race fan and i can not wait!!
@Paull, I believe I read in an interview once that they don’t often go to countries (inc. Australia) where the show is popular, to avoid spoilers and tip-offs etc.
I won’t get to see it coz I’ll be the in the first team to arrive in the Aussie version. 🙂
Why is it they’ve only been to Australia twice in the show’s 17 season history! They’re missing out on a whole continent.
To wait for Seven or not is the question???
Any idea when Seven will show season 17?, either it has to be shown soon or after seven air the amazing race australia airing in early 2011.
Please Channel Seven, fasttrack it. The AFL Grand Final telecast will be a perfect opportunity to promote the series.
cant wait for this season to start.
