SBS’s Anton Enus and ABC’s Virginia Trioli will host the 2010 Walkley Awards, to screen next week on SBS.
The broadcast will also include comedy from Myles Barlow, who will review the Federal Election, a musical tribute to Prime Minister Gillard from the Chaser’s Andrew Hansen, and an all-out roasting of a ‘legendary media personality’ by John Clarke and Bryan Dawe.
2010 also marks the 100th anniversary of the Australian Journalists’ Association, an organisation that has made an enormous contribution to journalists’ pay and conditions, as well as impacting the Australian media landscape.
