Three of the country’s top production houses are now in the running for the contract to produce the next season Australia’s Next Top Model.
Fremantle Media, Shine Australia and Southern Star Endemol were all shortlisted after a call for interest. The successful bidder will produce the series in conjunction with Sarah Murdoch’s own 329 Productions, following a decision to dump Granada Australia after the year’s most notorious live finale.
“We have had considerable interest from the production sector, many of whom, tabled strong credentials to co-produce, with Room 329 Productions, the next season of Australia’s Next Top Model,” said Executive Director of Television Brian Walsh.
“We have selected three from the list and Foxtel, along with Room 329, will work through the selection process in the course of the next few weeks.
“I would like to acknowledge the incumbent production company Granada Australia and thank them for nurturing the series over six successful seasons. We will continue to work with them on other productions in the future.”
Season Seven premieres on FOX8 next year.

Shine will get this. They seem to be picking up all the shows at the moment that have been done badly by other production companies
Sure, trail smaller production houses but not on Foxtel’s number 1 non NRL show.
So whats wrong with trialling a smaller or little known production house?
isnt Foxtel supposed to provide an alternative?
