Chris Lilley fans should be getting their first sneak peek of Angry Boys within the next 11 days.
The highly anticipated comedy is Lilley’s follow-up to Summer Heights High, produced in conjunction with ABC, BBC and HBO.
A sneak peek of the new series will be screened during the UK Comedy Relief benefit on March 18th.
But a spokesperson for the show told TV Tonight Lilley is set to release a glimpse of the show before that via his Facebook and Twitter.
The series will also have its full episode World Premiere on ABC1.
A 5 minute sneak peek will also air on ABC1 at the end of the month.

Hopefully it airs in Australia before the UK. I’m getting super dooper excited! Buzz.
It takes so long in production because it doesn’t have a large team working on it as a Hollywood movie or equivalent TV comedy would. As I understand it, Lilley prefers to oversee the whole process (including post production) personally. So it will be slower by necessity, not because the ABC want to hype it up to massive proportions. The same period of time was spent in pre-production for his previous two series, I believe, only he wasn’t as well known then so there wasn’t the countdown to release.
Can’t wait!!! I stIll get Jonah lines from my year 12 students…
I agree with these posts – too long in coming and too much hype means too much pressure to deliver something amazing. Anything less will be let-down. Chris Lilley is obviously very talented so good luck to them all!
The more things are hyped up, the bigger the letdown is.
I can’t stand the prat, so I hope it flops!
Any TV show that takes over 4 years to get made and released better be good!
It’s been in production longer than most Hollywood movies and about 8 times longer than an equivalent tv comedy. It’s been a long time coming, hope it’s worth it.
Will probably have to watch BBC to see it in HD. What a joke.
Cool – will be great to see. And God the ABC market their new stuff well, don’t they?
Does Lilley even have a twitter?
Does this mean it’s starting after Easter?
Sounds like they’re really trying to hype this up a lot. I hope it isn’t a letdown.
thanks for following up, and what I posted.
