Correction: Seven’s 2.5hr season premiere of Dancing with the Stars was scheduled prior to Nine’s announcement of a Blood Brothers telemovie this Sunday.
The live show, which reflects previous season premieres will stretch from 6:30pm – 9:00pm. A double episode of Castle airs at 9pm.
Sunday is shaping up as a big night. Nine’s telemovie begins at 8:30pm while it also premieres In Their Footsteps at 6:30pm. TEN has Merlin, MasterChef and a new Hawaii Five-0.
It’s game on, guys.

Any idea why we are seeing Castle out of order? Last week was Nikki Heat/Poof You’re Dead which are 3×11/3×12 but they are advertising Setup/Countdown for this week which are 3×16/3×17 and according to Foxtel tv guide the eps for the 15th are Knockdown/Lucky Stiff which are 3×13/3×14. The Final Nail is ep 3×15 and it seems to missing in the middle of it all…
Merlin was good until TEN delayed the 2nd season which saw ratings plumet. May consider watching the first ep of this seasons.
Next time your near the Daughters toybox grab a Barbie doll and gently squeeze your forefinger and thumb at her hairline and chin…….Lara Bingle has obviously got huge inspiration for her new face.
Sigh. Everything I’m seeing indicates that 7 is jumping straight ahead to the Castle 2-parter (Set-Up/Countdown). David, is there any reason out of 7, why after having just aired episodes 11 & 12 that they’re skipping 3 episodes to show episodes 16 & 17?
This is the type of crap 9 usually pulls, but rarely 7.
Re. Bones.
That’s why I watch online. I’ve given up on Seven. There’s only 3 episodes left of the season to screen in the US, and the second half of the season has been fabulous.
When is new episodes of Bones is coming back? Over the past two months it has been replaying episodes from season five, and now we are two months behind.
i thought 2.5hours was normal for a premiere. atleast in the recent seasons. i’d expect it to end up going for closer to 3hrs.
Could have sworn I just saw a promo for new Bones next Sunday. Was I dreaming?
Castle eps are new.
Good to see Castle at 9 but i want Bones. Is there still no word on when New Bones is coming David?
2.5hrs for dancing is far too long. And I’m really disappointed that new Bones doesn’t appear to be returning anytime soon. Seven have really screwed around with Bones this year, burning off new episodes twice a week followed by weeks and weeks of repeats and now completely out of schedule.
Now even shows that rate well are no longer safe. Way to go lose viewers from one of your highest rating and most popular shows.
The down side to this move is the average will surely be down Dance. My prediction is TEN may not win over all abut will take the top show and a chunk out of the other guys.
great news, always feels rushed at the start of the season, trying to talk to all the celebs in only 2hrs
I will stay with 9 and 10 throughout the evening. DWTS has very few stars and the dancing genre is now out of fashion. Blue Bloods and Masterchef look to be good Sunday night viewing!
i will be watching Merlin at 6.30pm on TEN and if their is nothing good on all of the freeview channels the i will switch to dvd’s simple.
blood brothers should be fine- i would rather sick a fork in the toaster than watch DWTS
Will that be new episodes of Castle or will the S1 repeats be continuing?
Wouldn’t 7:30 to 10:00 be a better response, otherwise people might just switch at 9pm for Blood Brothers.
That’s an awful lot of filler….
Blood Brothers will have Hawaii Five-O beat but not sure about DWTS
