Regional viewers in South Australia will be getting more multichannels in a rollout starting from November.

  1. We were supposed to have the multichannels in the Spencer Gulf in January, then they said it would be July but now in September it has all gone quiet on the matter again.

  2. Should we defy the government to speed up the digital TV rollout? Besides, we don’t have to do everything the current communications minister is forcing us to. Also, should the rollout of the NBN be accelarated a bit? If so, how would it be done, even if we have to do it outside government channels?

  3. Finally! I moved to the Riverland at the start of the year – and I was a huge multi-channel viewer when I lived in Melbourne. December can’t come soon enough!

  4. @Paul I was thinking it was for the Spencer Gulf too but I am still happy to see that the South East will be getting the channels this summer. The Spencer Gulf will get them and they already have Eleven (The best digital channel in my opinion). Southern Cross will annouce them soon I hope. They annouced 9 and 11 officially less than 6 weeks before they launched. It was Sept 21 2010 when 9 was announced and it started on Oct 31 2010 and 11 was annouced on Xmas Eve 2010. If you are a facebook fan of Southern Cross GTS/BKN they should post an annoucement on there or at least hint at an announcement to be on the news. There is still hope.
