Spoiler: Filming is now underway on the next season of The Amazing Race Australia.

By the look of this photo contestants were at Sydney Airport checking into a counter for Philippine Airlines for a 12:10pm flight to Manila.

The Seven show is expected to be filming for the next few weeks.

  1. I’m from Canada & I never see the australia version of amazing race but I was just on a flight from Havana Cuba to Toronto & they were filming. I saw one couples amazing race form other wise the said nothing. I live the US version & I might have to watch this version on the net. Goodwill to the couples.

  2. I expect that we will see lots of Asia and countries that are cheap to travel to. Amazing Race Australia is stingy – $250K prize money compared to $1m in the US version. They’ll try and cut costs by mainly visiting cheap countries.

    Though, I guess the US is a pretty cheap country to travel to at the moment. I’ve just arrived home from there and, with the way the people are spending up big time in the middle of the GFC, I don’t see that their economy will recover anytime soon.

  4. I was such an avid watcher of TAR since it started but the last few seasons have left me cold , i have watched 1 episode of the current series and thats it.
    Why not have couples from all over the world that would be great , as for TARA ill give it a bash and see what its like.

  6. Only stupid people will get confused. TARA is in capital letters cause’ it’s an an acronym. (David doesn’t allow people writing all in caps anyway).

  7. @deedeedragons why are you talking about United States of Tara on a page about The Amazing Race Australia? I know you were shortening it but you need to be careful or people might get confused.

  10. This time hopefully Seven will give it a better lead in than an axed show like No Ordinary Family. 8:30 slot was a little late IMO as well, 7:30 Mondays would be better
