Wonnacott and his team filmed five one-hour specials in Sydney and Melbourne in August and these will premiere on The LifeStyle Channel at 7:30pm from December 5 – 9.

If they wanted to find some great bargains and some Real antiques the show should be (Bargain Hunt Tasmania) 🙂

Teams came from all over Australia. We were flown into Melbourne and Sydney to participate. It really did depend on how good your application was to get shortlisted, then we had to do skype interviews with the BBC and after all of that, the Lifestyl producers made the final casting decision. The show doesn’t say where we come from….
Hope they didn’t visit any dodgy suburban auction houses!!!
I registered my wife and I to go the show, but typical they only filmed in sydney and Melbourne. Boooooooo
So given it is Premiering on the Lifestyle Channel in December, does that mean 7Two will show the series later on like they do with Bargain Hunt weeknights from 6 – 7pm.
No. Will not happen.
It would be nice for ABC1 to show Bargain Hunt in the spot vacated by The Collectors. No good Ch 7 having it as they would put 5 minutes of ads after every 5 minutes of program making the program unwatchable.
I love Bargain Hunt!
I hope Ch7 pick them up too later.
