Later this month 7TWO will screen the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
The event takes place in Norway next week but will screen at 1:10am Wednesday December 28th (that’s Tuesday night).
Join Helen Mirren and Rosario Dawson as they host the 18th annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway. Featuring artists from around the world such as Sugarland, David Gray, Jill Scott, Janelle Monáe, Matthew Morrison, Ellie Goulding, Evanescence, Bernhoft, World Youth Choir and the Nobel laureates’ personal selections, the concert will honour the most recent winners of the most prestigious award in the world.

Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja received several standing ovations when he headlined the Nobel Prize Concert,
I have just discovered this tenor….I will be watching…even at that awful time…1.10AM….good grief…
PT Ryan…..Evanescence are just playing at the event because they were invited to…& because they represent modern rock music…if you don’t like them…don’t watch. The same could be said about some of the other artists performing ! Also to point out that what Evanescence achieved in popularity & sales with just their first album is justification alone that they are a good band !!
Evanescence? I thought the Nobels were about recognising greatness, not mediocrity. 🙂
