Eurosport renews Alpine Ski World Cup
Eurosport channel ties up FIS World Cup events until 2016 including Alpine Skiing, Cross-Country and Snowboard World Cups.

Eurosport channel has renewed rights for FIS World Cup events in all disciplines until 2015-2016 season.
The five-year agreement with Infront Sports & Media will see Eurosport broadcast the majority of the FIS Alpine Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, Nordic Combined Skiing, Ski Jumping and Snowboard World Cup events for the seasons 2011-2012 to 2015-2016.
The deal includes TV and digital Live rights and covers all races of the six FIS World Cups, almost 200 events per season.
This includes the Tour de Ski in Cross-Country Skiing and stages from Ski Jumping Vierschanzentournee (Four Hills Tournament).

They should rename Eurosport as The Alpine Ski World Cup Channel, since that’s all they show 24/7 these days.
