The Project: Mar 4 – 9

TEN is now sending out more information on its upcoming guests for The Project next week.

TEN is now sending out more information on its upcoming guests for The Project next week -an easy move that may generate more viewers.

I’m often perplexed at why more shows don’t do this (ABC is particularly good at it). After all this site has been communicating this kind of info for 5 years now, yet most morning and breakfast television shows rarely take advantage of the opportunity.

Amongst The Project‘s upcoming stories are coverage of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras on Sunday and a mid-week interview with Jamie Oliver, despite Sunday Night saying it had him as an exclusive.

On Sunday, we celebrate the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras – the history, the community, and we find out why it’s still relevant in 2012.

Meet the inspirational 91 year old Kokoda Track veteran Bede Tongs on Monday night as he returns to Kokoda with a new generation of Australians making a difference to remote villages along the track.

On Tuesday, we chat to Jamie Oliver, who’s in Australia to support his Ministry of Food campaign. We find out what inspires Jamie to make a difference in fighting obesity around the world.

Our good friend and Shadow Treasurer, Joe Hockey will be our special guest panelist on Wednesday night. We will spend a day in his shoes and find out what he really gets up to.

They’re back and ready to serve up another slice of warm apple pie! The cast of the hit comedy franchise American Pie are in Australia and Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott will be joining us at the desk on Thursday.

We wrap up the week on Friday night with comedy legend, John Cleese joining us to talk about his new film, SPUD while Kris Smith wraps up the week in sport.

Sunday to Friday 6.00pm on TEN.

  1. I usually cringe through the Wednesday episodes with Steve Vizard.

Now I’m actually looking forward to it with Joe Hockey. At least he manages to get a laugh out of me.

  2. Sounds good. The ratings for The Project seem to have been up all this week – not dipping below 500k.

Hopefully more tune in as a result of these guests, as the content of this show is vastly superior to that of Today Tonight and A Current Affair.
