TEN premieres the Tim Allen sitcom Last Man Standing, which has already screened on Foxtel due to their shared output deal with FOX.
Allen plays a director of marketing at an outdoor sporting store in Colorado, whose life is overwhelmed by his wife and three daughters. The series has been renewed for a second season.
This is at least the third series on Aussie TV to screen with the title of Last Man Standing.
Mike plays Cupid for Mandy by setting her up on a blind-date with Kyle, one of his employees who he thinks would be the perfect guy for her.

Been watching this on Fox8 – and love it! A great laugh for a Sunday night – the daughters along with Tim Allen make it great!
Good show. The first half a dozen episodes were just acceptable because of Tim.But as the other actors improved and got used to there part on the show.It became a must watch show.I hardly watch comedy shows as i’m very fussy. But this one is well worth watching.Great to see Tim Allen back on our TV screens
I’ve been watching it on Fox8 and I like it, no idea how it will go on FTA though.
The ads they’ve played for this made this show look woeful. I doubt this will rate well at all
I heard this was good. If it was 1992 right now.
I saw an ad for it the other night.
It just looked like an updated version of “Home Improvement” (3 girls not boys)
Won’t be watching.
Should be interesting to see how it does over here.
Seen lots of the ads. Doesn’t look promising. Does Ten really think it’s young demo would watch this? It probably belongs on Nine.
I think it’s a good show, it might be similar to Home Improvement except this time Tim has 3 girls not boys. It has its moments and is one of the better show to come out recently, just a shame it too so long to come to FTA having run on Fox8 earlier in the year.
Interesting fact – Nancy Travis who plays the wife had a part in ‘Hart of Dixie’ but she had to give up that show when LMS got picked up.
Not a great show, but has had a few good episodes in the season. Don’t know how it will work here, I didn’t think Modern Family would last a week here, being as crap as it is, but people seem to love it… so time will tell for this.
Brilliant TV series. Tim Allen at his best. And it has been renewed for a second season so TEN is in luck.
