Are the Masterchef: All Stars will be running a “pop-up” restaurant in Sydney as part of their upcoming season?

A “MasterChef Dining” restaurant will be locatedĀ on the forecourt of St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney’s CBD for 3 weeks from July 3rd, ahead of the show’s run during the Olympics.

It will feature 3 course fine-dining from Julie Goodwin, Justine Schofield, Adam Liaw (who hasn’t been named as part of the All Stars season) and Hayden Quinn plus guest chefs Justin North, Kylie Kwong, Colin Fassnidge, Martin Boetz, Giovanni Pilu, Adam D’Sylva, Vincent Gadan and Christine Manfield.

Each seating runs for around 2 hours and tickets will be around $100 per head plus drinks.

Update: A TEN release this morning indicates this restaurant is sponsored by American Express with funds raised for OzHarvest but no mention of inclusion in All-Stars.

It will be a good opportunity to raise some money for charity, hope it does well.
