Airdate: Brynne: My Bedazzled Life. Returning: How I Met Your Mother, Beauty & The Geek

Seven has cashed up its Thursday nights in October.

Seven has scheduled Brynne: My Bedazzled Life, How I Met Your Mother and Beauty & The Geek on Thursdays in October.

Brynne: My Bedazzled Life premieres 7:30pm Thursday October 4th at 7:30pm.
With exclusive access to their properties scattered around the world – including a spectacular condo at the Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast, along with private jets, countless prestige cars, luxury boats, designer wardrobes and 150 million dollar fortune – the cameras are there for the jaw-dropping highs while shopping for an island resort to the lows and challenges that married life can sometimes bring as Brynne goes about her everyday life. Throughout the series Brynne introduces viewers to her beloved puppy Juddy and her family and friends, including her mother Mariel with whom she shares an incredible bond. We also see her take on the challenges of embarking on an acting career and witness her stage debut while she juggles her obligations as a millionaire wife.

How I Met your Mother airs at 8pm S7E20.
“Trilogy Time.”
Barney and Quinn take the next step and move in together, but when Barney is unwilling to get rid of any of his old possessions, the gang suspects he thinks his relationship with Quinn won’t last. Meanwhile, Ted, Marshall, and Barney embark on another trilogy time, the three year event where they get together to watch the Star Wars trilogy and envision what their lives will be like in another three years. While Ted and Marshall have always envisioned successful careers and marriages, Barney’s fantasy has remained the same: a new girl, a new opportunity to have sex.

Beauty & The Geek returns at 8.30pm.
Will the Beauties throw themselves at the cashed-up Geek when they discover his identity? And will the other Geeks see him as a threat and join forces to eliminate him, viewing him as too privileged to take part in this fun social experiment? It’s guaranteed to be an amusing mix of gorgeous Beauties and academically-gifted Geeks. Our Beauties are vivacious, fun-loving girls who enjoy socialising and being the centre of attention. They’re preened and ready to take centre stage. But ask their opinion on politics, the solution to a mathematical equation, or how to reboot a hard drive and they’ll be stumped. Our Geeks are intellectual pin-ups. They love sci-fi, comics, gaming and computers. They are socially-awkward, conversationally-challenged and some are still waiting for their first kiss. Throw 10 Beauties and 10 Geeks into a mansion together, team them up to compete in a series of challenges to test their brains and charisma and watch as they evolve. There will be plenty of fun, laughter and teamwork along with miscommunication and frustration as our teams bond and struggle to overcome their differences in pursuit of a $100,000 prize. Each contestant will need to share their strengths with their  partner, who will hopefully overcome their own weaknesses, in order to succeed. We’ll see the Beauties study up on mathematics, etiquette and geography. For the Geeks there will be an action-packed Bond challenge, some fashion photography, flirting lessons and wrestling. Throughout it all they’ll be working together to keep themselves safe from elimination. Beauty and the Geek Australia is executive produced by Paul Melville for Seven and Marty Benson for Shine Australia.

  1. Love the lineup (so happy HIMYM is back) and with Grey’s on Tuesday 9:45pm and Once coming to Wednesdays and i suspect Grimm will follow Criminal Minds, things on Seven are looking great again. Sundays are the only day i am not looking forward to as i have seen Killing Time and Strike Back already.

The Unbelievable Truth will probably take Mondays 9:30pm although Scandal is coming too i heard and in a way X Factor would be the perfect launching pad for it.

  2. Wow Seven hasn’t even finished HIMYM yet!!! New season starts today. Better timeslot for it though, a timeslot it deserves. However the fact Seven is behind, and that it’s after the trashy Brynne which will no doubt run overtime means i won’t be watching on Seven. I’m not gonna sit through 10 minutes of that crap waiting for HIMYM

  3. Great news that HIMYM is back and in a timeslot that it deserves! Seriously can’t believe that Seven dropped it with only 5 episodes left earlier this year, but hopefully this means they will jump straight into season 8.

  4. HIMYM seems to be getting a decent time slot this time around. Wonder how long it will last? I cant believe they still haven’t shown the remainder of season 7 yet. I wonder how this will effect the ratings, even though it is sandwiched in between two possibly high rating premiers?
