MasterChef mag to fold monthly editions

NewsLifeMedia has confirmed that the November issue of MasterChef Magazine will be the final issue.
The magazine launched in May 2010 with the second series of MasterChef Australia, but has just about halved its circulation since its first ABC audit in February last year. B&T reports the June audit placed its circulation at 78,721.
Nicole Sheffield of NewsLifeMedia said: “We are looking to align the schedule of MasterChef Magazine with the television series with special themed issues when the series returns next year. The magazine has been a very successful title for us and we have always seen increases in circulation when the program is on-air.
“This was not an easy decision however this flexible model allows us to evolve the brand.”
Meanwhile a second series of the Chinese MasterChef series will go into production for Shanghai Media Group’s Dragon TV. To date it has reached an audience of 118 million.

Any word what will happen with subscriptions? I cant find any info on Magshop, iSubscribe or the masterchef website.
Lucky I chose not to renew my membership. Still buy every issue just missed the cut off date for renewal.
Will be a shame to see it fold it’s a good magazine with a lot of great content!

@BigJMathews – The Magazine has been available in iTunes for 18+ months now, and at a reasonable price from memory.
That’s a shame. I wonder how much longer Recipe Plus will last as that is tied in with Ready Steady Cook.
They should have released in iTunes as it would have been more successful
