The ABC’s One Plus One returns this week with a new series of face-to-face interviews hosted by Jane Hutcheon, the program features from Australia and beyond.
The first program features Craig McLachlan who stars in The Doctor Blake Mysteries tomorrow night.
He tells presenter Jane Hutcheon how he won the lead role of Dr Lucien Blake and discusses the years he’s spent trying to throw off the image from his time on the hit series Neighbours. He tells Jane that he’s proud of being 47 and Botox free!
Also on the program, a rare interview with Dr Jean Calder, the Queenslander who has spent almost three decades living and working with disabled Palestinian children in Gaza. The quietly spoken Dr Calder describes what it’s like to live in the Palestinian territory which was blockaded by Israel after hardline party Hamas won power in elections in 2006.
And when it comes to big, no-one does it better than internationally renowned sculptor Anish Kapoor. His work is currently on show at Sydney MCA, which needed ‘structural adjustment’ to accommodate Kapoor’s exhibition. Anish Kapoor is in conversation with Anne Maria Nicholson.
Friday, 1 February at 11.30am on ABC1.

One on One is an interview program. An appearance on One on One is different to passing off X-Factor/AGT/Block/MC/MKR etc. pieces as “news” in “News” bulletins.
And your point being? Anything wrong with cross-promotion?
The ABC stopped doing cross promotions in the 7pm News and 7:30.
I guess now they do them in One on One, were they simply don’t matter.
