Lights lift the look for Mr. Simon Cowell
Here's a good reason why snapping photos at TV shoots is always a no-no.

Taking shots on a mobile phone is always a strict no-no at TV shoots nd here’s why.
Sneaky fans have snapped Britain’s Got Talent judging panel which shows hidden lights that help Simon Cowell to look a tad more aesthetic than his co-judges.
Apparently he has doubled the number of lights from 2 to 4 after nasty reports that he was looking ‘jowly’ aftern ‘piling on the pounds.’
Yikes.

When you get to a certain age help is needed and appreciated. No big deal.
@Leppie – all well and good but he could just look up at the massive X-shaped lights above the stage. Plus, if you look at earlier eps with just Simon, Amanda, and Piers, when the camera does the overhead zoom from the back of the auditorium toward the stage, you can’t see any lights in front of Simon.
Lastly, why would Simon need a light to tell him that he’d pressed the buzzer?
A comment on DailyMail
“Im sure those lights are so he can see who has pressed their buzzers, there was 3 of them last year when there was 3 judges, now there’s 4 judges and 4 lights, come on DM you wrote an article about that last year too and somebody who works on the show even said thats what they were for”
Judge Judy has had these for a while, and it is very noticeable that there is light coming from the table.
Seven news in Melbourne have used these on Jennifer Kyte for years.
No one else needs them.
the anti-ageing lights broke on The Views desk a few weeks ago. the reaction and banter about it from the ladies was hilarious, especially woopie
I need this permanently attached to me wherever I go!
But on serious note…seriously?
