RIp Penne. As I am reading this, I am watching a repeat of Rafferty Rules which Penne is in.
Such a talented actress, and a lovely person. R.I.P Penne
I remember her on All Saints. RIP to her.
I remember her doing the ads for the Datsun 120Y in 1975 while Cash & Co and Tandarra were running saying “With the price of petrol nowadays it is tempting to ride a horse all the time” and promoting the car as “The petrol wowser”. My mother traded in her Mazda and bought a 120Y hatchback because of that ad. The car dealership threw in a Yamaha Moto-Bike (an early version of a mountain bike) as well. Years later I was taught to drive on that car.
I remember her from “Cash And Company”
and all the old shows.
RIP Penne.
Thanks for the wonderful memories.
Condolences to family, friends, fans 🙁
Another good one gone. Just loved her in Cash and Co with Serge and Gus. Reading the Herald article, I can see why she had a lot of horse riding scenes.
A wonderful actor….I agree with all comments here….
RIP penny i remember her as pam foley in a country practice
A real loss to the industry. Grew up loving her in Butterfly Island.
I was a little tot when I saw her on a country practice, again in Muriel’s Wedding as well as legion of acting roles her presence on screen was always so warm. RIP Penne
Lovely actor. RIP
A very sad loss. Way too young. Penne was a very classy and elegant actress. My sympathies to her loved ones.
A real pity – she lifted the quality of every production she was in. RIP
