American Horror Story has released a brief but rather cool teaser for it’s third season, “Coven.”
Season three centres on a coven of witches that relocated from Salem to New Orleans before The Salem Witch Trials.
The cast includes Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters, Gabourey Sidibe, Angela Bassett, Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga and Kathy Bates.
Update: apparently Sarah Paulson is also returning as Jessica Lange’s daughter -she was fantastic in “Asylum” as ‘Lana.’

Kathy Bates playing Delphine LaLaurie? I can’t wait!
Loved “Asylum” way more than the first season, but enjoyed both. Main problem with the Horror franchise so far is the finales fail to pack a punch. Maybe because most of the principle cast is killed off by ep 13??
i preferred the first season, the second season took on too many themes and left some half baked. it would have been good as a insanity/psycopath/serial killer/possesed by satan/evil nun drama. the inclusions of extra terrestrials and cannibals was unnecessary and too far fetched.
this show knows how to do awesome casting. Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates? 🙂
How anyone could call season 2 “terrible” is beyond me!
Do you think the useless and under performing Eleven channel might deem this worthy of fast tracking this time?
Thought the second season was terrible, hopefully this one is better.
I love this show, can’t wait for it to return!

Looks good. Will watch this one. I couldnt get into the last AHS season. This one i will give it ago.
