One Day Cup begins summer of cricket

GEM will launch the 2013 Australian cricket season this Sunday.

2013-09-24_1125GEM will launch the 2013 Australian cricket season this Sunday, September 29 with its exclusive, high definition broadcast of the newly modified Ryobi One Day Cup.

GEM will broadcast the Ryobi One Day Cup over four weeks with a commentary team including Mark Taylor, Ian Healy, Michael Slater, Ian Chappell, Brett Lee, Glenn McGrath, David Warner, Stuart Clark, Tom Moody and Steve O’Keefe.

  1. Its nothing unusual for One to delay most sport into WA. I think its very ordinary as a 6.30 and 10.30 WST start is much nicer than the 8.30 and 12.30 EST we have!

  2. Very interesting usually this lasts for 5 or 6 months like any other regular season. Also David what is going on with TEN’s or ONE’s Champion’s League coverage its seems to be disjointed the epg’s are not comprehensive enough and they dont show wether the matches are Live. The first match this past Saturday Night was Live surpisingly then the one on Sunday Night was delayed here in SA most likely because of F1, why couldnt they have given use Live coverage instead of delayed coverage from the begining of the Brisbane Heat match?.
