The Simpsons has brilliantly parodied Homeland with an opening credit sequence, in its new season.

The Simpsons‘ season premiere, titled ‘Homerland’, will feature Lisa suspicious that Homer has been ‘turned’ after returning from a nuclear power plant operating convention. The episode will also feature Kristen Wiig as an intense FBI agent who helps Lisa unravel the truth about her father.

  1. Aussie_Austridge, so irrelevant and crap that you felt the need to click on the article, then take time out of your day to comment on it?

After almost a quarter of a decade, quality is going to drop, but not many people believe it was bad after 1993. First decade at least

  2. David, do you know if Ten or ELEVEN have any plans to fast-track new Simpsons? The most recent season (24) is currently being repeated at 6pm Sunday’s. Tonight’s episode is No.10 A Test Before Trying. Maybe after the season has been played in full new eps will follow.
Unless I missed it What Animated Women Want still hasn’t been shown yet on free-to-air.

  3. What a load of garbage. I can’t believe they’re still producing this crap show. Nobody wants it anymore. The Simpsons jumped the shark with that hopeless Lisa the Vegetarian episode in 1993. Channel Ten would do everybody a favour by taking this show off air and warehousing it so that nobody else can show it. From the moment this show came back to Ten’s main channel I stopped watching it. Ratings suggest everybody else did as well.
