“The Drama Queen” will take viewers inside Costello’s world, as she’s hard at work building entertainment careers and a talent’s brand, teaching her clients how to be stars. Marki will also lend her expertise to Australian pop star and ex-wife of popular radio host Kyle Sandilands, Tamara Jaber, who will appear in the series. A triple threat, Tamara is fiercely confident and Marki plans to market her as the role model who will teach girls that it’s okay to be themselves.

Costello is the granddaughter of famed comedian Lou Costello, and knows the exact formula for turning nobodies into somebodies. She is a best-selling author and the creator of the world renowned Hosting Bootcamp seminar, as well as a highly sought after manager who has worked with countless Emmy Award winners and has coached the likes of Kelly Osbourne and CeeLo Green. What’s more, Marki has been the go-to talent guru for up and coming television hosts for over two decades. As her clients and staff can attest, Costello’s loud and direct approach to life is the secret to her success and has consistently proven one thing: What Marki Costello wants, Marki Costello gets.

Always vying for her time is her ‘second family’, her band of young staffers at the office. Costello recently launched a kids division and stress levels have never been higher when she butts heads with some over-bearing and demanding stage mums.

While Costello brings her “Marki magic” to her business on a daily basis, her long-term artist boyfriend Tommy takes the reigns when it comes to the daily charge of their young son Finn. Giving up control at home to Tommy isn’t easy and along with her teenage son Lucas, Costello makes sure she knows everything that is going on at all times concerning her loved ones. As with all working mums, she faces the same challenges and works tirelessly to balance her extremely busy work life with her equally demanding family life.
