Big Brother Grand Final live in Sydney and Melbourne
Big Bang Theory inserted at 7pm for Melbourne to ensure Sydney viewers are in sync with Big Brother finale.

Well this is a sensible outcome (as previously suggested here).
TV Tonight can reveal Nine has aligned next week’s episodes of Big Brother in Melbourne and Sydney as a result of continuing its one hour News bulletins in Sydney.
Nine has been screening one hour bulletins all week (and prior due to bushfire emergencies), but this meant viewers in Melbourne watched Ed get evicted half an hour before Sydney. On Twitter some Sydney fans were complaining about being spoiled.
Next week Nine has sensibly inserted The Big Bang Theory at 7pm in Melbourne to ensure Big Brother airs at 7:30pm in both cities. All other states will see Nine News, ACA and Big Brother as usual.
South Australian viewers should therefore get Big Brother live, instead of being half an hour behind.
Update: The finale will also be Live in Brisbane (not sure about Monday’s show….).

I said earlier in this post that Nine should ditch ACA in Queensland, and it seems they have done that. This means it will be live everywhere except NT and WA. And that means maximum social media exposure.

Great news that it is live. In this day and age of social media, networks need to make an effort to ensure finales & event tv are live.

At least it is only a thirty minute delay up here. What are the chance Nine would bump ACA until after Big Brother, so we could see it live too?
IIRC Nine have done that a few years ago, but I can’t remember what it was for.
