Seven snares first week of ratings
Ratings: Seven wins the first ratings week with a very comfortable margin, and ONE scores with Sochi.

Seven has won the first ratings week of the year, with a very comfortable margin.
Seven won with 31.2% to Nine’s 26.3% and TEN’s 21.9%.
Seven took the top 7 places of the week with INXS: Never Tear Us Apart at 1.97m viewers with My Kitchen Rules as high as 1.95m viewers.
Nine’s best was The Block on Sunday at 1.27m viewers.
TEN took third place thanks to excellent numbers for ONE, their best performance since July 2012. But their primary channel landed behind ABC1. TEN’s best was Sochi Live Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle Final at 978,000.

If only Ten could get hold of some quality sport to fill more gaps in the schedule. Amazing how much better their numbers look with One going well.

In all fairness, One have been showing alternate Olympics coverage too (even when Channel Ten were showing other shows), so the ratings for the Olympics should be the combined channel numbers.
Ten are screwed once Sochi finishes.
Wait a sec….. Channel Ten covers Sochi Olympics. And yet, their primary channel is still behind ABC1?
