Please Like Me nominated for Rose D’Or Awards

Josh Thomas has landed the only Australian show nominated for a prestigious Rose D'Or this year.

jthomas-1.jpgABC2 comedy Please Like Me has been nominated for a prestigious Rose D’Or Award in Berlin.

The Josh Thomas comedy is the only Australian show nominated this year. It will compete against Toast of London and Yonderland, both from the UK.

Please Like Me, which returns to ABC2 and Pivot in the US in coming months, already attracted glowing praise from The New Yorker, TIME, Entertainment Weekly and the LA Times, winning an AACTA Award and an Australian Director’s Guild Awards plus Logie and GLAAD Award nominations.

The winners will be announced at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski, Berlin, on 17th September.
