Madonna took a tumble at the Brit Awards after a back-up dancer attempted to detach the cape she was wearing during a performance of Living For Love.

She later posted on Instagram “But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I’m fine!”

That dancer is so fired.

The Brits aired today on UKTV and screen on ABC2 on Friday night.

  1. Not that anyone will ever see this response, but the two dancers who were responsible for pulling the cape off Madonna continued to work with her right to the end of her recent Rebel Heart Tour. In every show, they had to pull a similar cape off Madonna…but not until she gave them a very subtle nod to indicate that she was ready!

    1. Ok here’s a little bit of goss for you… I won tix to her recent tour, including a backstage tour. I stood on Madonna’s stage haha. And no, not a media access… genuine competition prize.

    She is a tough lady … sure she had a good laugh about it later … after she kicked that dancer. 🙂

  4. Her necktie from the cape was so tight she couldn’t loosen it in time and the dancer yanked her back! LOL It must hurt when yiu’re just skin and bones.
