Seven News coverage of the NSW State Election on Saturday will begin from 5pm with Mark Ferguson and Mark Riley.

Committed to delivering the most comprehensive coverage and up-to-the-minute results as election night unfolds, Seven News anchor Mark Ferguson and political editor Mark Riley will lead a heavy-hitting panel of experts including 2GB’s Alan Jones and former NSW Premiers Morris Iemma and John Fahey.

They’ll be joined by Seven News state political reporter Lee Jeloscek, NSW Treasurer Andrew Constance, Shadow Treasurer Michael Daley, former Liberal leader Kerry Chikarovski and Western Sydney Labor hero, Greenway MP Michelle Rowland.

Plus political strategist Bruce Hawker and former Premier Bob Carr will join us live for their take on the results of the campaign.

From 5pm on the main channel, Seven News live rolling coverage of Your Call NSW 2015 begins with analysis of the results of an exclusive 7News/ReachTEL Exit Poll of voters that day.

Chris Bath will present Seven News at 6pm, covering the events of the day from home and abroad including strategic election updates throughout the bulletin.

Seven News will cross live throughout the night to reporters in all key battlegrounds across the state.

Melissa Doyle with be reporting live from inside Premier Mike Baird’s camp, while senior correspondent Chris Reason will be with Opposition Leader Luke Foley.

Viewers can voice their opinion live throughout election coverage via the 7News app using the 7News Viewer Vote function, with results broadcast onscreen in real-time.

  1. Baird will win with a reduced majority. Apart from a handful of independents, it doesn’t matter who the candidates are, only their party, because 100% of their votes in parliament will be determined by their party for them.

    The Legislative Council will be a lottery that may give some individuals the power to sell their vote for crazy things that benefit them, but the result not known for weeks.

    Inane “tweets”and pop-ups, and 20 mins of commercials/hr. Somehow I think it will be Antony Green and ABC for me.

  3. Puzzled as to why they’d start at 5 – polling doesn’t close until 6, surely they wouldn’t have any indication of number for a couple of hours.
    Mainly good names there, although a couple of douchebags.
