Gallery: Garry Lyon turns stand-up comic

After Garry Lyon recently lost a bet on The Footy Show his punishment was to do a five-minute stand up act as a warm up for Dave Hughes’ comedy show.

After stalling for a week, apparently needing more time to work on his material, he finally stepped up last night at Hughesy’s Pumped show in the Comedy Festival.

TV Tonight hears he also had a car accident on his way to the gig after someone rear-ended him (and no it wasn’t me!).

As they say, a funny thing happened on the way to the forum -although strictly speaking, it was the Comedy Theatre, not The Forum….
