Eurovision voting errors for Aussies?
Did Eurovision fans experience problems with televoting via SBS?

Some Eurovision fans took to social media yesterday complaining about errors with the televoting via SBS.
Viewers were asked to SMS the number of their preferred act in a brief window during the Live 5am broadcast.
But some were unhappy that not all of their votes were received, whilst others complained of a message that the service was unavailable.
An SBS spokesperson told TV Tonight, “SBS engaged MNET who acted as an aggregator of phone and text votes for the Eurovision Song Contest. MNET worked with the EBU’s mobile operator Digame who are based in Europe. Digame oversaw the televoting solution for all participating countries.
“MNET is not aware of any problems however they will also need to check with Digame. Given the difference in timezones we will not have a response until tomorrow morning.
“It is worth noting that the ‘service currently unavailable’ message is an automatic response from the user’s mobile carrier indicating that the user does not have premium services activated on their mobile account.”

I voted, waited for the confirmation, then voted again. The only issue I had was that the second text took a while to be confirmed (like 5 minutes). I also only voted for 3 songs, rather than heaps like everyone appears to have done
I didn’t have any problems at all. Voted 8 times in the the finale and they all went through fine same in both semis.
Considering most of those screenshots are showing those that did land in the points I would think there wasn’t too much to complain about. I voted and mine came through fine, although I always waited for the confirmation before sending the next one instead of spamming the service…
I voted while i was drunk. Dunno how i did but i have no recollection of doing so haha! They all went through for me though.
I got alternating ‘service not available’ and ‘you are too early'(???) responses to mine… anywhere from 30 minutes to 2.5hrs after the voting window. That’s a system problem.
I forgot. Is it too late to vote?
What would Eurovision be without the voting controversies?
I had no issues… neither did the 4 other people voting in the room with me.
I voted in both semis and the final and didnt have an issue….
Yeah I voted straight after they said lines were open and I get an error message as soon as the winner was announced that said I was too early.
