End of an era as the marquee for The Late Show with David Letterman is removed from the Ed Sullivan Theater.

That would look great on my veranda!
I wonder what’s happening to it. Most of the model bridges, roads and buildings that were at the back of the set just went into a skip until fans grabbed them for souvenirs (it reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when Kramer had The Merv Griffin Show set in his apartment) . Only Dave’s desk and one model bridge went to the Smithsonian
Yes dumping set parts into a skip showed no respect or foresight.
