MasterChef lost one of its biggest personalities this season last night when Rose Adam was eliminated from the show.
She missed out after Matthew Hopcraft and Reynold Poernomo delivered better desserts, designed by pastry chef Janice Wong from Singapore.
It was the fifth pressure test for the 37 year old from South Australia.
While the judges praised her yoghurt, the spheres comprising her cassis plum did not match up well enough for her to survive.
Just 9 contestants remain in the competition, only 2 of whom are male, in Matthew and Reynold.

She seems like a very nice lady but come on, that was way overdue.
While Rose was a “big personality” and clearly much loved she was the weakest cook of the remaining contestants. Congratulations to her, though … she did exceptionally well to get as far as she did.
I’m still perplexed as to why Georgia’s dish didn’t get her into the bottom 3 on Sundays episode. As a viewer this episode told me that a contestant can be safe in invention test in the top ten with a basic soup that had no invention. I would have thought not fulfilling the brief would be an automatic bottom three or at the very least an explanation should have been offered for her escape. I’m not sure I want to continue watching the 1-2 eps a week of masterchef that I currently watch after this episode.
We don’t call it MC anymore. We call it the Georgia Show.
