The success of TEN’s Bachelor franchise and Nine’s Married at First Sight appears to have spurred Seven into the romantic genre, having recently advertising for couples whose relationship “has gone off track.”

The series that will help couples “refocus, reassess and repair their relationships” is titled Relationship Rescue.

“Maybe your partner doesn’t listen to you or isn’t the person you thought they were? Maybe you have become so busy with your other commitments you are now neglecting your relationship. There may be unresolved conflict that has been simmering away, allowing your relationship to become less loving,” Seven suggests.

“Under the guidance of our professional expert counsellors, you will gain a deeper understanding of your relationship difficulties and will be given support and strategies to help you become unstuck and move towards your relationship potential.”

The series seeks couples, married or de-facto, who are at least 25 years of age, have no children and who have been in a committed relationship for 5 years or more.

  1. I’m confused … I thought there was a Seven & Nine truce after the HouseRules/Block disaster, I mean Restaurant Revolution/Hotplate ratings disaster? So now we have a relationship show on Seven and two relationship shows on Nine? Married at first sight and Farmer wants a wife? This will be after back to back Bachelor shows ? Seriously ? David can this work or will it make viewers run for Netflix ?
