Auditions: MasterChef Australia 2017

Good news for TEN with word it is commencing the search for 2017 MasterChef contestants, less than a month after the current series has launched.

While a new season has not been formally announced, it’s clearly a sign of more to come, with filming to take place between approximately October / November 2016 and May 2017 for approximately 30 weeks.

Rules and eligibility are comprehensive, including that all contestants must be amateurs. Your main source of income cannot come from preparing and cooking fresh food in a professional environment nor have any formal tertiary or other professional catering qualifications acquired in the last 10 years.

Applicants must be aged 18 years or above on 10th October 2016, an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
