Airdate: Mighty Car Mods

Aussie car enthusiasts Blair Joscelyne (aka Moog) and Marty Mulholland will premiere in Mighty Car Mods on Discovery Turbo next week.

With over 1.9million YouTube subscribers and up to 4.2 million views per week Variety Magazine recently ranked the pair in the world’s Top 12 most influential digital stars.

In their TV series they tackle everything from building an Armageddon car inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road, to the Japanese grassroots turbo car culture and an ambitious journey from Sydney to Uluru.

Ep 1 – Mighty Car Mods: Mod Max
In the first episode, Mighty Car Mods: Mod Max, Marty and Moog are on a mission to create an Armageddon ride inspired by the phenomenal stunt cars from Mad Max: Fury Road. Starting with a rather unconventional base car they set out to turn a Nissan Silvia, with the guts of a Holden Commodore, into a post-apocalyptic beast on wheels fit to rule the desert wastelands. And they’re not making it easy on themselves – with just three days to get the job done, the pressure is really on to get this unique car fitted out, modified and ready to roll. Along the way they meet some of the crew who worked on the film who help to get their wheels end-of-the-world worthy, before they put it to the ultimate test.
