If these are Thursday ratings it must be November.
Ratings: Thursday was a night of failed shows, repeats, filler content and copycat programming.

We are at that time of the year, folks, when networks are dusting off unaired episodes of failed shows (Australia’s Cheapest Weddings), throwing on repeats (Midsomer Murders), plugging timeslots with filler content (David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities) and copycat programming (The Big Bang Theory on 2 networks).
That leaves us with a new Big Bang and SVU episodes, Home and Away and cooking shows on ABC and SBS as the premium entertainment shows of the night.
No prizes for guessing that networks struggled to reach the magic million last night.
Seven News and ABC News won their timeslots last night.

I watched Silvia’s Italian Table…. Midsomer Murders ….the usual dead’uns everywhere…Like the Queen said once…who would want to live there…….*G*
Gee they seem to pull the shutters down early these days. Ten pulled them down a few weeks back.
Ten still have Big Bash which I assume starts soon. But yes, been nothing after Survivor Oz…
Kevin McCloud’s Escape To The Wild was my highlight for the night, but I had to suffer a very ordinary and lengthy Midsomer Murder first. Maybe they are both repeats, but the Kevin McCloud episode was new for me.
After The Block auction airs this Sunday at 7 o’block TV won’t be worth watching
Some Aussie dramas have their finales this coming week. I think you will find that the week beginning the 20th, will be worse, with little new enjoyable content.
For those not watching the Block, the drought started when Survivor Aus finished. Great for catching up on recorded programs, though.
Absolutely. I have a huge library of recorded series not yet watched such as Gruen, HYBPA, Doctor Doctor, Wrong Girl and so on.
Not watching The Block (I couldn’t think of any which interests me less) but I am still watching Bake-Off on Foxtel (but I am guessing you are referring to FTA and the lack of entertaining content there).
I watched the latest episode of Frequency on Netflix and a movie called Arq about a guy stuck in a time loop. Netflix has some great movies and series right now. I’m going to watch the fundamentals of caring next
I love Murdoch’s Mystery on 7TWO …
I watched Silvia’s Italian Table, SVU and streamed The Last Leg and Rosehaven. It was that sort of night.
